Simon wanted to understand his studio. Which classes work? Who comes back? What’s left at the end of the month? He didn’t want another spreadsheet to find out. That’s where numara began.

He wanted to run a studio. Not spreadsheets.
Simon founded the dopamine studio in Berlin to bring people together, run great classes and build a place they wanted to come back to. But understanding how the business was doing meant exporting data and working through spreadsheets.
He wanted useful data for his studio. Which classes are in demand? Who comes back? What’s left at the end? The answers needed to be there when he needed them, without building another report first.
That need became numara: class operations, members and finances connected in one system. Built around a studio owner’s questions, for people who care just as much about running theirs.
